The hotel is housed in a spacious aristocratic palace created in the 16th century by merging several Renaissance buildings into one. Nowadays, the hotel occupies two buildings, connected by a fairy-tale garden courtyard still adorned with the crown of the old well, in which the hotel bar is located.
The left staircase leads from the courtyard up into the main building, and the right staircase leads to the villa.
