GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
Inquiries and reservations are accepted via our web site, by mail, phone or in person at the hotel reception. When booking through this website, the user confirms acceptance of these General Terms in its entirety. Everything stated hereafter becomes legally binding, both for the customer and for Judita Palace. When booking, the customer is required to give all the information. To make the reservation considered valid user must guarantee booking by a valid credit card. Credit card is used only as a guarantee, unless agreed otherwise when confirming the reservation. Facility reserves the right to pre-authorize a credit card for the full price of your whole stay. Your personal data, as well as information about your credit card, are fully protected. Data transmission takes place via a secure server. The payment is made according to the valid price list in local currency HRK at the check-out at the reception, except in case of non-arrival or cancellation within the period when cancellation fees apply, when a credit card is used as a mean of paying cancellation fees. Payment at the Hotel, when enabled by the offer, is possible in cash or by credit card and debit cards Visa, Maestro and MasterCard. If the offer defines that a credit card is required for the purpose of payment, the full amount of all reserved services will be charged within the deadlines defined by the offer. If paid in foreign currency, the conversion into HRK is made according to the middle exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank on the day of payment execution.
RIGHT OF JUDITA PALACE TO ALTERATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
Hotel Judita Palace reserves the right at any time to change the reservation or description of services, if circumstances arise that are beyond our control, cannot be predicted, avoided or postponed. Confirmed accommodation unit can be exchanged for accommodation of the same or higher category and at the price that was confirmed at the time of booking, and that customer is notified in timely manner. In cases where substitute accommodation is not available, and the accommodation is paid in advance, Hotel Judita Palace reserves the right to cancel the reservation and refund the full amount.
GUEST’S RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Should the customer wish to change or cancel a reservation according to her/his request, it must do so in writing by the e-mail. If a reservation change is not possible and if the customer quits the confirmed reservation, the terms of cancellation are listed below:
- For reservations from 1 to 2 bedrooms (≤ 2) cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before the arrival of the guest. Cancellations after this period will be charged 100% of the total price.
- For reservations from 3 to 5 bedrooms (3 ≤ 5), it is necessary to pay a deposit of 30% of the total price 30 days prior to the arrival of the guests. That amount is non-refundable. The remaining 70% non-refundable fee is charged 14 days prior to the arrival.
- For reservations of 6 and more than 6 bedrooms (6 ≤), it is necessary to pay a deposit of 30% of the total price 60 days prior to the arrival of the guests. That amount is non-refundable. The remaining 70% non-refundable fee is charged 30 days prior to the arrival.
- No-show, early departure or shortening stay will be charged 100% of the price of stay.
Advanced purchase rate:
- Payment condition: full advance payment with nonrefundable policy at the time of booking.
- The full amount of the reservation will be charged on your credit card shortly after your booking is confirmed.
Booking terms and conditions:
- Your credit card will be charged for the full amount in Croatian Kuna per exchange rate of Croatian National bank at the day of payment.
- Price included buffet breakfast and VAT.
- City tax is additionally charged per person per day and is not included in the room rate.
- In case of invalid credit card hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
TYPES OF PRICES
Prices depend on the type of accommodation unit, date of stay, length of stay, number of guests, payment and cancellation conditions and additional services. In addition to the basic bed and breakfast service, the Hotel has special offers in the form of service packages according to a special promotion price list. Special offers cannot be combined with other promotions.
Service price represents the amount per person / night or per room / day, as indicated on the price list of services. Additional services are not included in the price and are payable additionally. Hotel Judita Palace reserves the right to change the prices of service at any time. Clients that have paid a deposit or provided acceptable reservation guarantee, Hotel Judita Palace guarantees the prices that are valid at the time of booking. Contracted services may not be combined with other promotional offer or packages. Clients that have paid a deposit or provided acceptable reservation guarantee, Hotel Judita Palace guarantees the prices that are valid at the time of booking. For stays without reservations, the prices and conditions of the valid price list at the reception desk. The price includes buffet breakfast and VAT. Prices in euros are informative, and the HRK equivalent is calculated according to the middle exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank on the day of payment.
Please note that the credit cards are charged in domestic currency (HRK) and that your bank may apply a different exchange rate when converting the charged amount in HRK to your domestic currency. The hotel bears no responsibility for any additional costs that may occur due to currency exchange rate fluctuations or bank transaction fees. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or change a reservation if there has been an abuse of the reservation system or it was made by an obvious mistake of the user.
Smoking is prohibited in all closed hotel areas, including hotel rooms. Violation of this rule will require payment of a fee for dry cleaning the room.
Hotel is working 00-24.
The guest is obliged to keep hotel equipment and furniture safe during their stay at the hotel. In the event of any defects and/or damage to the room, the guest is obliged to inform the hotel reception during their stay or during check-out, at the latest. The price list for damage or loss of inventory is located in the hotel directory in all accommodation units and at the reception.
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE
Accomodation for guests is available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, guests should vacate premises by 11:00 a.m., unless a late check-out is arranged. Late check-out fee is 50% of the price for the night on the requested date.
The authorized bodies of the Ministry of Tourism, in accordance with applicable legislation categorize facility and accommodation of Hotel Judita Palace.
In accordance with the regulations governing the payment of tax, the customer is required to pay the tourist’s residence tax when paying for their accommodation. The Tourist tax in the Republic of Croatia varies from destination to destination, to which you are travelling. Children under 12 years are not paying while children between 12 and 18 years have a 50% discount. The amount must be paid upon payment of the cost. The amount of paid tax is clearly specified on the invoice issued to the user upon calculation and payment of services. The amount of tourist tax is determined by decision of Croatian Government.
ACCOMODATION IN THE HOTEL
Arranging guests by accommodation units is managed by the Hotel. The guest accepts any officialy registered accommodation unit within the booked type of accommodation unit. The Hotel is not able to confirm the numerical designation of the accommodation unit before the check-in.
HOTEL’S DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS
Obligation of Hotel Judita Palace is a constant concern about the quality of the service provided, in accordance with legal regulations, industry standards, and generally accepted business practices and customs in the tourism and hospitality industry. The hotel will endeavor to fulfil commitments in full unless there are circumstances beyond our control.
GUEST’S DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS
The guest is obliged to supply and carry all personal documents necessary for arrival and departure to the units Hotel Judita Palace. The client is required to abide by the rules and regulations prescribed by the Hotel Judita Palace through hotels House. The client is required prior to arrival to check the visa regime between the Croatian and the country of origin, and check whether it is required any additional travel document for his entry and stay in the Republic of Croatia.
THE RIGHT OF OBJECTION
Should the services provided not be satisfactory, the guest is obliged to fill out the complaint immediately at the Hotel reception. In addition to the above, the guest can send a complaint to: email@example.com, no later than 3 days after check-out from the hotel. If the guest files a written complaint after that deadline, Knjižara Morpurgo 1860 d.o.o. is not obliged to take such a complaint into account. Judita Palace will confirm in writing its receipt and respond to the complaint in no more than 15 days of filing the complaint. Every customer has a right to complain for the service that was paid but unfulfilled. Every customer - reservation holder, files a separate complaint. The guest is required to cooperate with employees with a good faith in order to rectify the problem. The amount of the fee upon the guest’s complaint can reach the maximum amount of the complaint-related part of the services, and cannot include the already used services, nor the entire amount of the arrangement. In cases when the hotel is legally responsible for the disappearance, destructon or damage of Your belongings, the hotel compensates up to in the amount of HRK 10.000,00.
Any disagreements should be settled in a satisfactory manner for both parties, and if a solution cannot be reached, arbitration of territorially competent court will be accepted.
Payment for additional services is made according to a valid price list. Knjižara Morpurgo 1860 d.o.o. assumes no responsibility for services provided through other service providers. If the guest wants to use additional services, they must be announced in advance at the reception or when booking. Pets are not allowed. Extra bed is subject to additional charges and is charged per person per night. A baby cot is available free of charge for children up to 3 (≤3) years old. Please note that children older and including age 3 (three) years old are charged the adult rate. Maximum capacity of extra beds and/or cots in a room is 1. Any type of extra bed or baby cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.
If the number of people at check-in is higher than the number of people for whom the reservation was made, the hotel reserves the right to deny the service.
